The King stands 4.5 inches tall with its base measuring 1.75 inches in diameter. The lovely 20.5 inch chess board is made from high quality dark rosewood and maple with the squares measuring 2.2 inches.  The combination of rosewood and maple color and texture gives this board a unique classic look
